Northern Michigan Smallies
« on: Oct 10, 2018, 09:14 PM »
My brother is home on leave for a month before he has to report to his new base, so we took a quick trip to the Northern LP of Michigan. Probably caught close to 80 or so fish in 2.5 days of fishing. Didn’t run into any of the toads  that live in this lake, but our biggest went about 3#.  Most fish were caught in tubes, but when the wind picked up today I got them going on a white spinner bait pretty good!  Didn’t take as many pics as we should have, as when we caught 1 there were almost always followers and we were in a hurry to get our baits back in the water.  They are definitely putting on the feed bags up north!
