Just picked up a nice Delta 14" band saw from an estate sale. I've been wanting a better band saw to resaw and round blanks for bowl turning and such.

Will have it in my shop on Monday. Felt like  I was picking through the remains of another woodworkers life. Gave me cause for pause.

Spent a while getting things set up in the garage shop today. Band saw is coming tomorrow. I have a flower box to build and might do another bird apartment house.

Very nice millermankt. I think I'm going to make a couple duck boxes for my property. May be a bit late for this year but maybe able to catch a swarm of honeybees this summer. They like duck boxes too.

Well here it is. My new/ old band saw. Delta 28-243S. Vintage. 1980..... or so. Made in USA👍


Of course, I already stripped it down for cleaning and tuning.







A couple days and it'll be humming along like new.....well, maybe a few days.
