Thanks.
Still looking at tons of unpacked boxes.
This is insane.
Today is a semi-break on unpacking boxes.
(We are seriously running out of room to put the crap)

Window installers are due here this morning to begin installing the new windows.
Can't wait.

Windows going in.
They say it will take 2-3 days to install all 13 windows.

Remainder tomorrow and then on Wednesday they will return to do the trim and clean up.
Nice windows.

Windows are all installed.
They came out freekin awesome.
Super differnece over the old ones.

Like this company's work so much that I called the salesman and scheduled him to stop by this friday.
We want to enclose the screen room and make it a year round room.
We will see what they can come up with.

Thursday we have a sales person stopping by to quote on new blinds for these new windows.
The old ones were fine (by my standards), but Donna has different ideas.

I will give it 3-4 months or so.
Keep Donna happy, and get her EVERYTHING she wants for this place.
She asked me about painting the window shutters.
I told her to call a guy and have new ones installed.

Anyway, in 3-4 months, after we sell the motorhome, I will take Donna to look at new pontoon boats.
 :whistling:

There WON'T be an argument on the boat.

Things are going quite well.

BTW, my planned shed expansion is currently a thing I go to bed each night thinking about.
Stay tuned.

Glad to hear everything is going well for you, you have a lot on your plate but looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Can't sleep.
Story of my life.  lol

Ordered custom blinds yesterday for the new windows.
Again, Donna is happy.   ;)

Later this morning we have a contractor stopping by to give a price on converting the front screen room into a ful season room.
Right now, because it's only screen, it gets wet out there when it rains.
The floor is concrete, but still makes things a mess.
I will then add a wall AC unit out there.
We will then have an extra more useable room.
Donna wants to use it for her plants - she has a lot.
I will put one easy chair out there for a quiet place to read and relax.
I will also move our small chest freezer out there and get it out of the dinning room.   ;D

At some point will head over to the storage facility with a load and also to go thru things currently over there to possibly bring a few things back here.
Later in the day a run to Goodwill with some stuff and also a run to the landfill with some cardboard from the broken down cartons.

Word to the wise - go thru your crap every 4-5 yrs.
We brought down a lot of useless junk.
Mostly because we simply ran out of time up north and it actually became simpler to pack it than sell it or try to give it away.
We have 3-4 of everything.  Crazy!!!

Who is Mack?

I like AC
Especially when sleeping.
But out working in the yard, I like to sweat.

We got the blinds ordered.
The walls, windows, and door for the screen room too.

I need a break.
But more importantly, Donna needs one.
Contractor comes back tomorrow, for some confirmation measurements.
Sunday I’m gonna take her to Stump Pass for a walk in the sand.

Should change the title of this thread to, "Now Retired".
However, I'm doing more work than before retirement.  lol
We have been stupid busy trying to put things away.We are taking the opportunity to sort thru things and "trying" to make a sound decision of we need to keep something.
(or if we actually need 15 of something)

I have made 4 runs over to Goodwill and 2 runds to the landfill.

The 5 x 10 storage unit we rented is PACKED.
2/3's of it Xmas decorations - lol

However, my shed here is finally getting sorted through so that I can find something when needed.
I have a contractor coming this week to give me a price on doubling the size of it.
It is currently 9 x 7 and I want to push it out another 9.5' - 10' making it about 20 x 7.
This will then allow me to move the junk from the rental facility into it.
I will also build a very long workbench along the back long wall allowing me use my rod lathe and mount the bench grinder, vice, drill press, etc.

Today I decided we need a break as noted in a previous post.
Because we can't take Macy to the beach (dog ordinance), we will hit a huge flea market up in Sarasota.

I'm making Donna breakfast first.

Happy Sunday - I hope most of you are fishing.

I was so busy after I first retired, I went back to work. Needed the rest.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Got to the flea market and saw signs saying “no pets”.
So we walked the outside stands.
Then grabbed an ice cream cone on the way back home.  Got one for Macy too.
Got home and assembled a beautiful little pantry cabinet.  Came out really nice.  I have some sanding to do on the door so it opens/closes perfect.  Then Donna wants to put a simple clear coat on it.
Now watching the final round of the Fed Ex Championship.
