It rained!

Lst night, the White River watershed got its first appreciable amount of precip in over 6 weeks. Indy picked up nearly an inch.  I haven't been reporting because the water was so low one could see bottome clear across the stream in most places.  Mongo sized carp are everywhere - fortunately none appeared to be of the most recent invassive variety.  Lots of little SMB were chasing everything in sight. They are fun to watch but too young for a hook.

The missus and I took a day trip to Shakamak the other day and found the panfish willing in the old lake. The trip had a dual purpose. Along with the fishing, we stopped at a couple of persimmon spots and gathered enough for persimmon pudding to go with the turkey/
pheasant Thanksgiving dinner.

I agree with Teach, nice to see some new comments...

fish on,
