My son caught this striper from the beach at Head of the Meadow. He was fishing with 12 pound test and a seaworm/fish finder rig.

FTD, if OK with you I may have a bunch of question this year on stripers. I am looking to try the salt water from time to time but do not know what kind of gear, bait or locations.

Anytime Mongo. I grew up on Cape Cod and I still have family and friends there.

Any suggestions on a new combo rod and reel as I have no equipment for salt water. I was looking thru the new Basspro Salt water flyer that was sent to me this week and was not sure what to look for.
I would be fishing from shore.
