Swim baits for trout

(1/2) > >>

massNtrash:
just wondering if anyone has used big 8 inch trout swim baits to try to catch lakers? I was thinking a bout buying some but they are 30 bucks a piece so was just curious if anyone has tried them.

appleye:
I use ripple shads all the time in the 5" size. I also use jerk shads for a little diffrent fall rate.

stripernut:
I have had great luck with Sebils Magic Swimmers in CO, but nothing that big...

massNtrash:
Well I finally bit the bullet and boy am i glad i did! I spent $35 on a huddleston 68 special rainbow ROF 5 and within three hundred yards I caught a 36 inch 20.2 pound laker.

chrisrs:
I think when it comes to lake trout you can never go to big they are pigs!
