this sounds a little fishy to me but there is rumor that a 28 lb walleye caught at codanoua (spell) dam :o :o :o

  That would shatter the world record by nearly 6 pounds.  Highly unlikely.

caughdenoy locks are east of brewerton about 5 miles. ive seen 30 lb cats caught there but a 28 lb walleye? it is just 1 of the tribs of oneida lake. nice eyes are caught there and sm bass,panfish, sheepsheads etc. incredible fall perch fishing in the old lock there. when they come in there, its black with them awesome sight!!!

What's your biggest walleye to record? With the hundreds you catch a season, I'm sure you're up there in poundage and close to record on that magnificant river you fish!

You amaze me everyday with those pics! Simply the best. Wish I could do that well.

There looking for speakers at BassPro to talk about wally fishun around the CNY area. Holding a few clinics in the upcoming week about Oneida, FingerLakes and local rivers. Frenzi - i think you should sign up there and chat to the crowd. They're paying $$ to do it.

a gentleman told me he has seen this fish at local bait shop on onieda lake in a freezer. someone from ct. got the fish . hope this is not a hoax? ;)
