Can you imagine gutting a fish to find that?

Man, that's just nasty.
I would not want to ever find that in any of my fish I keep.

Wow, that is creepy for sure.  Ewwwww....

It would be funny to mount that fish, and then display the fingers in it's mouth!  (sorry, I couldn't resist)

The same thing happened. In Flaming Gorge in Wy. years ago, the big seller then was a "rubber thumb lure" that someone made up and sold all over the area.

Not the same thing but years ago I read in a Field and Stream or Outdoor Life that a guy was fishing in a stream in the mountains of California and lost his wedding band.  A few months later he was fishing there again and caught a trout with his wedding band in in the stomach.

Do you have a photo or link to thumb lures?
I would like to see one.

That would be one unique lure for sure.

No I don't, that was close to 20 yrs ago, I didn't buy one and I think it was just a local who produced a few. You can still Google the story though.

Seen quite a few things in fish guts but never a finger.
