Frozen Vegetables
« on: Jun 19, 2023, 04:00 PM »
So, a few weeks ago I took a fall while fly fishing. Slipped on a rock and went down on my left knee. It was sore at first but my work and all aggravated it to the point that it was pretty sore.

It’s been a mix of rest, knee brace and mixed frozen vegetables for the last week or so.

It’s getting better day by day. Sure takes longer than when I was 50.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Thanks guys. It’ll get better if I don’t screw it up some more.

Neoprene knee braces work wonders.

I have a few different ones. The ones with the hinges aren’t for this situation. The Mueller with the cross straps seems the best this time anyway. Keeps the area warm and gives enough support.

Been doing the ice/ heat therapy and it’s better. Not there yet, but better. On and off the mower at work probably doesn’t help a lot  but, I won’t leave my tees, approaches and greens to someone else.

Knee is doing fine. Went in to mow greens this morning.  Couple  pieces of equipment in the way of the greens mower. Pulled one outside. Went to push the other out of the way and slipped. Took the corner of the dump bed right in the chest.

Went to dump the first bucket of clippings and almost passed out. If it ain’t one thing ….it’s another. Not as resilient as I used to be.

We need to get you a helmet bud.

Take a powder and relax for a day or more.  Good luck.
