New fly

The 'purple elk' ;D Size 14, tail is elk hair, body is the butt ends wrapped forward. Thorax is purple dubbing. The fish is 22 pounds and I caught him on 2 lb tippet ::) ::)

thats not a 22# fish ::).....  actually that fish looks like it was really colored up. I would of liked to see the whole fish. 

thats a nice looking bead head you tie there.  How does the elk hair affect the bouncy of the nymph.

Elk hair makes no difference. I weight them all with lead anyway. It's coloured because its a spawner. Nothing real special. You're right its not 22lbs but i did catch it on 2lb tippet ;D
