lake wallenpaupack
« on: Mar 13, 2010, 05:10 PM »
Wondering if anyone has input or pointers on trolling for brown trout on lake wallenpaupack.  I usually fish the finger lakes for trout but I'm looking for some where closer to home.  I read a few articles that the lake produces browns and walleyes in the spring and fall by trolling.  But I don't have any idea where to go. I have a contour map of the lake and it tells you some spots to try.  But I know as well as anyone else info from fellow experienced anglers is always better than a published map.  Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I know some guys use the same srping methods as they would for browns on the big pond for the browns.
I use boards and small sticks and spoons splitting  the difference in depth when i use the riggers.

FIND THE ALWIVES and you find any fish that swims in the PAC.

I often see guys trolling off ironwood point for trout.  Use flat fish or any other lure.  silver seems to do the trick.
