The past couple weeks have been slow. Finally got a few days vacation and it didnt prove to be any better. Fished multiple lakes and tried a variety of everything and just couldnt find a steady bite. Water temps of mid 70s wasnt helping my case either. Marking fish in clusers on drop offs but not catching them where I would imagine, and my bigger fish were all caught while either adjusting the reel or going fast. Managed to reel in a couple fun ones to fight on Monday. My facial expression pretty much gives away which one id rather be catching but the pickerel took some good runs.. Had to beat the sun to get the brown.

Both of those are quality fish, but the brown sure is nice looking. Nice to see some fishing reports on here!
Oh yeah, and welcome to the site. Great first post!
