Not a very active thread, but maybe if you post there you will get a response. Also might be info in those threads if you dig through.

There is also the Grasse River not far from there, some good ski fishing there.

I remember watching Don Meissner on PBS fishing that area, your son could probably do some 'research' for you and watch him ;D

Chippewa bay itself is loaded with pike. We would do well casting spinnerbaits and large stickbaits across the shallow weedy parts of the bay. chippewa creek can be very good for pike and bass, especially early in the season. We always caught walleyes around chippewa point and superior shoal in the evening with jigs and erie deeries.

Just about any of the channel drop offs you can sting some Waldo's, pike I would fish around all the islands and shoals inside the bay. The Chippewa game club has done some pike stocking the past few years and hopefully their tremendous efforts have paid off!!! Good luck guys!!

Water was really cold.pike weren't wanting anything we threw. Out of the 20 or so people were at camp with, only 1 keeper(25").bass and pannies were willing.the kids easily caught over 100 each!! They had a blast!! My fishing was mostly worm on,fish off!! Did manage 1 slab calico (14"+).a great weekend over all!!
