What Happened to Irondequoit Bay Pike?

I know the pike fishing used to be a staple in I-bay, and held quality fish. Used to get them trolling often. Seems over the past three years or so the pike have almost just vanished. Any one else notice this? I know they are in there, but have the number decreased? Has anyone caught some northerns out of there lately?

its not just I bay but braddocks even buck pond are nowhere near where they used to be. I remember in the late 90s early 00s Double digit pike days were the expectation now they are the exception. I will say the walleye on the south shore has been going up for sure can't even keep the cat in the bag anymore.

If it helps, in three perch outings in the bay in late February, we boated and released 6 pike. They were all in the 22-24” range.
