we fished out of catskill sunday through Tuesday and boated 4 with 2 over 30 inches, also lost 3 and had several good runs that we didn't hook up on.a few runs on live herring but all fish hooked up was on cut bait.

Last three times out from shore in Highland, have been able to get live herring out but only one run that snagged up & broke off. Guys have been getting them sparingly from the low 20" range up to 41" is the largest I've heard from shore in this region.

Fished 6 - 10 PM from the tracks in Highland. One run but was dropped. Herring are abundant and were scapped with no effort yet my friend up in Kingston couldn't get a single herring this evening and no runs on chunk. Back at it in the morning.

4:45-8:45AM off the tracks in Highland with live herring. One run and drop. Tons of herring around.
