First of all, no pictures. Got into a nice bunch of trout in a beaver bog! 13inches down to 10 inches ! Kept 5 . People on here have seen pictures from my cell phone. Also got into some fiddleheads! Only found one spot that was up. A couple of meals worth. Beaver bog is around 2 acres in size, No brush or crap to contend with. Its on posted land behind a gate. Seen the sign and called owner and he said go right in and fish!

  Congrats.  My grandfather used to walk in to beaver bogs a lot, there can be some nice trout in them. I was thinking I need to get out and see how the fiddleheads are doing myself.

Hard to beat native brookies, long ways upscale from the scrubbers.  I've almost always had good luck asking permission to go on posted land.

Nice you got a fresh mess of greens for a meal. I don't remember the fiddleheads being this late. Usually they are up before Mother's Day in my spots. I checked a spot yesterday that hasn't even begun to show.

That rain closed my clamming spot until the 16th but I'll find some fish that aren't closed mouth.
