A Pleasant Day
« on: May 23, 2020, 05:54 PM »
I took my younger son and a friend of his fishing on the South Hoosic (in Cheshire and Adams) and Fish Pond (a/k/a Windsor Lake) in North Adams today.

An absolutely gorgeous day - - sunny, blue skies, 75 degrees.

Nothing exciting, but a surprisingly pleasant day.

All together, we caught a couple small (8"-9") brown trout, a rock bass, a couple small large mouth, a good-sized (12") perch, and lots and lots of big sunfish.

Along the way, I also chatted with a family (grandfather, father and son) of fellow anglers at Cheshire Harbor - - the Dad caught the "big" trout of the day (a 12" brown) - - and another fisherman at Fish Pond (who turned out to be the cousin of a guy I work with).
