Dyeing grubs

Try wrapping a piece of masking tape at the point you want the dye to end.
The tape should absorb most of the dye, but you will see some bleeding.
A rag tied in the same position will also work.
This should work but have not tried it yet: Vasaline or cold cream may stop
the dye from advancing also.
