Habitat stamp
« on: May 28, 2019, 01:06 PM »
So planing on coming out to your state to visit my son. Planning on a five day nonresident permit. Could not figure out if I will need the habitat stamp. Don’t mind getting one just want to make sure. I know I could make a phone call but thought I would start here and then as it gets closer to the trip maybe pick some brains. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to make sure I was legal! After rethinking I doubt I can talk my son in to fishing more than one day. So planning to get a two day permit. Not sure where but leaning towards the saint varain at Lyons. Think there are some sand pits close as well. Hopefully y’all won’t mind as it gets closer I ask for some advice.
I have read many of the posts from you two in ice shanty so will be happy for any info you are willing to give!
