I was just looking and seen that, this wind today has been awful but did hurt the ice big time. Heard that there was a boat on bass lake yesterday as it was ice a couple days before. Ocean had ice this morning as well but it should be just like boysen and the ice should be ripped off as well.

Looking forward to hearing your reports about Ocean so I can plan a trip over there with the new Boat!!!

Just got word that the lake blew off yesterday so it is open, sounds like I will be on the boat Sunday.

The last bit of ice disappeared on Lake DeSmet yesterday (May 4).  It is the latest ice off date anyone can remember.

Was an interesting spring for sure, 2 feet of ice gone in a couple days around here when it usually takes a couple weeks. But the temp swing has been unreal, cold to hot just like hit flashes, do I have heard.

All the lakes are still frozen around Pinedale.  Sentinel hub image from yesterday of Fontenelle is mostly obscured by cloud cover, but it looks like it might be getting close to opening up.

Might have a short open water season on the high mountain lakes this year. Heard from a few people around that getting around most of the mountains around the state has been interesting, some trying to start getting firewood saying they cannot get to some places still and some roads still closed as well.
