Striped Bass

This was my first Striped Bass.  It was caught from the beach on Cape Cod.  It was too small to keep and was released.  Let's see some other Striped Bass caught from a beach.

You're right!  This fish was caught some years ago.

Hey, Tony I use to fish the Cape all the time ,South Cape beach to be exact,fished the canal some but we were self contained and fish the beach all weekend from the time we could get in late may until fall.BB

Hi BB,  I haven't fished the cape in a number of years but would fish the ocean side, Marconi, Coast Guard and others.  I would go up with a co-worker on Fridays and stay until Sunday .  The best we had was one October weekend.  The fish were not keepers but the weather was warm, Nauset Light was still on the dunes, the Arora was in the North sky and we caught fish.  Can't beat that .  Tony
