Those of you traveling to fish the Connecticut River should be aware that it was very low again on Wednesday morning, Aug. 14. We weren't able to launch a 14' boat in Sunderland MA. Canoes and kayaks would be OK if you are careful.

I launched my canoe there a couple weeks ago and it was barely navigable in that.
I was chuckling that now that there’s a lovely new boat ramp but levels are to low to use it.
That’s a tricky area for power boats under most conditions. Unless the waters high it’s hard not to hit stuff.
