CT River Sunderland MA

Those of you traveling to fish the Connecticut River should be aware that it was very low again on Wednesday morning, Aug. 14. We weren't able to launch a 14' boat in Sunderland MA. Canoes and kayaks would be OK if you are careful.

I launched my canoe there a couple weeks ago and it was barely navigable in that.
I was chuckling that now that there’s a lovely new boat ramp but levels are to low to use it.

That’s a tricky area for power boats under most conditions. Unless the waters high it’s hard not to hit stuff.
