ice shanty is pretty dead now so i thought i would post this over here.
made our hopefully annual season windup trip tp tobin got about 3 full days fishing in. very very slow as far as action goes but when we got em it made up for it. had some real heartbreakers to. so many freight train hits on the tip ups that we missed. lost fish in the logs, lost fish at the edge of the whole etc. i'm sure we long distance released a few 20 lbers

overall though a good trip as we had no fish under 11 lbs and the majority were from 13-17 lbs. just would have been nice to break 20 a few more times, my brother in law did get a new PB with the big fish of the trip a 46.5" the was pushing 28 lbs. gotta love the new slot, only one legal fish and it was a 46.5".
