Fish pics from a few recent trips.
« on: Aug 15, 2019, 10:08 PM »
Haven't been able to get out a ton but making the short trips count. Took my kids and their friend that doesn't really fish out to the bass pond..... He got two nice ones, one on his first cast.... My two wound up with a bunch. My youngest still won't hold his own fish neither would their friend...... It was fun to watch them teach their friend the ropes.

This past Sunday though my son a buddy and myself hiked our stream with intentions to investigate some ponds we found on Google maps off to the left of our stream through the woods. We found three beaver ponds that actually held some fish. My buddy got one and missed two. He almost lost his shoe in midshin deep mud that we had to get through to get there. That day we fished from 3 until 8 we put in some miles and brought a ton of little wilds to hand.

Thanks Digs,

Once again you opened the door to the past for so many of us.
Those are adventures that you, your kids and their friends will cherish forever.

Thanks for sharing that
John

Fantastic!

Great job Digs! I am sure you are busy at work. Sometimes the adventure of getting to a spot far out ways the actual fish caught.

That's awesome let me know if you're up this way this weekend... I can give you some spots to try. Unfortunately I'm golfing tomorrow morning then a football draft and Sunday one of my kids friends from his little league team is throwing the first pitch at the Fisher cats game in Manchester.
