Title: Haddock Charter
Post by: AquaAssassin on Jul 13, 2019, 06:30 AM
Hey guys, In a Wedding party and we are going to charter a 6 pack boat for a Haddock trip, I’ve done this a handful of times before and everytime was great. I always took out a buddy’s boat myself though 2 days a week besides that and although way cheaper not big enough for a wedding party. I refuse to do a party boat. I’d like to hear everyone’s go to 6 pack haddock charter guy just to have some options. I have a couple go to’s In my head but I want more options since some prefer no weekends etc. thanks!

Call eastmans and ask for Nate or Ralph they run the six pack boats and you will not be disappointed with either one they will put you on fish

Good luck on your trip, Frank.
I'm sure you're considering Jamie?
Along with your go to jigs, I'd definitely be bringing some Sabikis/flies, but you probably already have them packed.  ;)

Oh yea, Jamie and Capt. Bill were my go to’s but not sure if they can make a Saturday work

Butterfly jigs and Sabikis are ready and back is now stable enough to do rough seas

Sounds good.
Great to hear your back is up for jigging and rough seas!
Some day soon, I'm gonna reach out to you and have a back talk.

Sounds good, proving harder than anticipated to find a guy who will do a Saturday and during Tuna season

Good Luck!

I didn’t get to go but years ago he took out my work for a company outing. Everyone had a good time from what I can remember.

Haven’t tried him yet. Was really shooting for a departure out of Rye before I looked at surrounding areas

Tontine is good bigger boat but more pricey cause paying for 12 people to go. South end charters boat is nice and is fast

If you have 6 people fishing this option could be a bit tight, I typically bring 5 max with him. But Captain Don out of Rye is a great guy and has great rates. A percentage of each of his trip also goes to a great cause, the Payton Cancer Society.

Deerflies are the worst I’ve ever seen them this year, it is amazing what those tough little natives can survive, far cry from there stockie brethren. I can catch them right in my yard and elect not to because of how horrid the bugs are this year. I equate it to the wet start. It’s just not worth the pain or dehydration and sweat at my house pick your poison lol!

Frank, I forgot about the Erica Lee fishing charters  out for Newburyport. ..

Green heads have been wicked...and deer flies at the house. ..no escape!

Bull frog dun screen seems to deter Greenheads I haven't tried it on deer flies.
