going to a wedding in the cape got the ok from wife to fish sat n sun more sat.i want to get some stripers any word on where to go on shore thansk guys.if you want to join let me know.ill be down fri by 1200 in the afternoon .also what bait or lure.

Where ya gonna be Chad? If you don't take Bill up on his offer, try the Bass River. I've always had luck chunking and floating live eels there.

  i  fished the canal monday it was slow. as far as bait you cant go wrong with eels.lures i like blk sluggos .7 inch white shad,ron zs grey and bubble gum, plugs/poppers in blk purple/ white yellow and  if you have a lite pole bombers and spooks

You're not too far from the Bass River then. Try the second bridge (Highbank Rd.) in from the ocean at night.  There's a dock just after the bridge that will give you good access. Float live eels on the incoming and outgoing.

You can always try the jette in sesuit.  try to hit the incoming and outgoing tides.   There is a great place for lobster rolls there too.


You'll be there one of the weekends that I am not.  Too bad.  Got a new (new to use) 17 foot boat down there now!!

yea went out with ron found fish but they were not bitting aa hardas we wanted they were everywhere .they got 3 keepers.

scorton creek. have had good luck there with schoolies, havent been this year yet though.
