eel and white cats
« on: Jun 11, 2010, 07:00 AM »
thanks mark for meeting up with me last nite. that worked out perfectly and catching my first white catfish was pretty cool too. hugh man eating eels in there and that big carp fight was cool. the difference between the bullhead and white cats are the whiter color and the forked tail. here's some pics.

Kevin,

Those pics are huge! Can you do something about that?!?!  ;D

JK, wish I could have met up with you guys. I've been so busy lately that fishing is at least a week out for me.

Wow, so which one of you guys has even seen a white cat let alone caught one . . .  :P We did get some nice eels too, a couple of monsters but some nice striper sized ones too! So anyone wanna meet up with me for some striper fishing? Free eels if you have a boat . . .  ;D I know its all in good fun!

It was nice to get out with you Kevin and I'm glad the fish co-operated as well. Nate did pretty well as well, even manages a largemouth which I was quite surprised about. I'll keep you guys posted on when I'll be returning if anyone is interested . . .

There are White Cats in the Merrimack river/ Newburyport that would swallow that one. You catch them there at low tide right across from Cashman park. where the creek comes in.
Kevin knows where I am talking about.
Kevin look at where the state record came out of ,look familiar?

The guy who showed me around at this spot has caught several nice ones from there, guess I just gotta put in my time. Maybe we should put something together for a little trip to the Merrimack?
