shimano solstice.
« on: Apr 09, 2007, 09:33 PM »
i just bought 2 shimano solstice rear drag spinning reels. i  bought a 100RH model which i put on 4'8 ultra light ugly stick and a 2500RH which i put on a 6' Shakespeare graphite rod. the ultra light has 6 pound test yo-zuri on the main spool and 8lb exel. on the spare. and the 6' has 8lb test on the main spool and 8lb exel on the spare. these reels are sweet.   i haven't fished with them yest but i have made some cast in the front yard and they are the smoothest casting and reeling spinning reels i have ever owned. these are the 1st shimano reels  i have owned and i can defintly see why they are rated so high.
She said that if i go fishin one more time she was gonna leave me....whell im gonna miss her!!
