That's OYE VEH!

Hope you make out ok with the herd. It's  gamble every season I'm sure. I have a friend who was in the dairy business on a 200 year old farm who fought year after year for his way of life. Happy to say he's retired now.

That aside, my bride wanted some peach shortcake for desert.

Peaches

+drop biscuits

+ whipped cream...=....peach shortcake.

Mmmmmmmmmm!

Goes very well with a wee dram of Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

Who would think a bunch of fishermen would be interested in this stuff and not even a fish or lure picture on the thread.. ;D

My little red truck comes back from the shop today with a new steering rack. Blew out a line on the other one. I fully intend to put a hurt on the crappies this week when the weather becomes a bit more reasonable.

92 yesterday with a dew point of 77. Worst humidity and heat I can remember.

But.......my garden is thriving like its the middle of June.

After work today I made 13 jars of spicy pickles and 3 jars of some hot cherry peppers...   ;D

Looks delicious!

I just started using the pint and a half jars for my pickles. I kind of like them.

Just old habit I guess .  Gramps ( on my moms side) use to do that. Give them a few minutes  to reheat the seals than turn right side up...
