The "invisibility factor" is not true unless your water conditions are redish.  However, I do have one trout rod spooled with cajun red and one spooled with stren clear.  They catch fish equally!  There is nothing wrong with the red, and it could work to your advantage if conditions are right.

I used it this past winter as leaders on my tip ups..liked the strength..very high memory, especially on cold days, and seemed to coil up after a break off when retying a new hook on..I picked up a box at my local GM on clearance and have it spooled on a light spinning reel to try to see if it is better in warmer temps..
I've got thousands invested, she's got a $20 combo and a can of worms--I get out fished EVERY time--Gotta Love It !!

I have noticed that once it gets stretched it doesnt coil but we all know what that means.
