Hummingbird fishfinders in general?
« on: Jun 03, 2004, 04:28 PM »
Does anyone have a Hummingbird "full size" fish finder and if so, how are they? I see you can get the Piranah for less than $100. Also, the Smartcast with the regular type of display looks like it is made for shore bound guys like myself.

I have an older one in the boat, use it for depth finding, works great, they display in "real time". People have been talking about the Smartcast for months, most seem to like it or think it would be great for shore fishing. It will also work in the boat, just not at any speed.
