Got out with Shane and Fred this afternoon. We got beat up by the heat first couple hours as if working in it the past week or so wasn’t bad enough lol. We targeted eyes for the first time in a couple weeks and found some nice keepers with some perch, bass, and sheepshead mixed in. Snapped one of my 7 foot jigging rods in half on the first eye I hooked. Oh well I guess I got 12 good years out of it and caught a few fish with it over the years. At sunset the wind picked up due to some of the thunderstorms that were forming to the south of us which was a welcomed with open arms after the hot conditions earlier with no wind. It was good to get out with Fred and Snag as we haven’t all fished together since 4th of July.

Nice job findin em

Sorry to hear about the broken rod...  Great pics everyone!
100% chance thunderstorms at check in time today. Go figure, but we'll make the best of it! Its only water mixed with electricity  :P

We should’ve bought more of them when Snag was able to get them. I use one of them for a finesse rod for bass. Makes them go cross-eyed on hook set!!😈🎣
