You'll be fine. Waves will be great. Only 1.4 footers right now, plus:

https://weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/1bfcd5cdec16a2c369a19d9435eedcb660bf882531f659bcae7ba9f37b901f03

It says "calm" from 9 PM until 1 AM

And the wind is under 3 MPH from now until 8 AM, not cracking 5 mph until afternoon

Should be great tomorrow and sat and sun too.
1/2 ft to 1 ft, north breeze always feels good out there.
I'll be out there in a gray and blue Alumacraft.
Not sure yet where were starting east or west, just keep moving till you find them.
I love my spotlock.
Good Luck, I keep moving till I find a steady pod of fish that are biting.

Nice, you're killing me!  Maybe I can make it up there next week.  Not sure how many times I've said that.

As long as the 15 mph they are calling for is as strong as it gets would should be good . Friday is only a 5 mph

Left the house early for the day trip to the big lake. After stopping for bait in Michigan city I changed directions and headed to NB since I already have an annual out of state for Michigan.  Got on as the sun was only up a short time. Went out to 40fow banged 4 right off the bat' smallest being 10 1/2 . Then nothing...so I moved in to 32fow and hit 2 more quality 11s. Then nothing for at least an hr... moved around d a bit and hit a couple 9s dbl... made a mark on the helix and proceeded to do a controlled drift with my trolling motor. Drifted off course and hit a couple more and made a mark. After another mark on the helix I had a little triangle on the screen and I pinned down on them. Came home with 25... kept about 5 9s to make the limit...top fish of the day was 11 3/4. Good day and still made the 2.5 hr drive home in ti.e for football practice.

It was a good day...calm waters and fish were quality ones you found them... talked to other guys who said they caught alot of small ones as did I but I didn't see them move for several hrs.

Great day out, good bite in the morning but it slowed , lots of searching and sorting.
3 of us ended up with 28 keepers. We fished Mich City east.
24 to 32 was our best range.
