Well BW I fish the Susquehanna river mostly and the walleyes are there year round and don't migrated from any lakes with the mouth being the Atlantic. ;D  So we don't see quite the size that you do or other lake run fish get but 10lb fish are not that uncommon with 4-8lbers being more numerous and fish up to 12lbs showing up on rare occasions.  It's more numbers than trophies but that's OK because anything over 21" goes back anyway.  From Oct. thru mid March I have walleye for lunch more days than not. ;D  Honestly, spring is the best time for monsters for me but fall can be great!

Wow slipbob that walleye is skinny. They must be starving in your lake.

And no competition, fishing is waaaaaaaay better than golf, good choice ;)

Great Wallies Slipbob, You the man!
You can either be the type of person that spends a saturday watching Dr. Phil, eating tofu in your bachelor appartment, or you can be the type that goes fishing.... Your call....The bass are biting...

Thanks buddy.  I'm about to eat those walleyes within the next half hour.  ;D  I think I will bake them and then pour on some butter infused with fresh sage and lemon.  It's a varitation of the walleye recipe in this month's infisherman and is quite good.   ;D  Mmmm fresh walleye.  ;D
Boy slipbob just thinking about the taste of it is torturing

Yea, I saw that recipe, and read and highlighted a few articles in this month's infisherman too. Went to Wal-mart to look for some of the jigheads and sassy shads that were in the article too, but no luck there. When and if I ever get my boat  :'( going to try and hit Saratoga up for some fall fishing. I'll get in touch with ya.   :D
