breaking da ice..
« on: Feb 03, 2007, 05:34 PM »
after a month of not fishing. -blown moter on the boat- i went fising today on badin lake. water temp was 46. air temp was 20.. we ran about 3 miles at 75mph this morning.. that was enough the two of us were about froze. we both had a case of slushy brain freeze's. we busted our butts trying to catch bass.. but to advail.. we are of the agreement we are both insane -though we will denie this to our better halfs- after about noon the temp creeped up to the lower 50's but the wind blowing 10-15mph made it feel like 5 degrees..
this is something you don't see every day even in nc..
