Tonight it was home made pasta and white clam sauce with shrimp.In the pan.....( I don't do proportions for this kind of recipe. It just happens)1 can chopped clams with juice.Olive oilChopped garlicBlack opal Basil flowersGreek oreganoSalt, pepper Crushed red pepperWhite wine ( I used Pinot Grigio)Raw, peeled, deveined shrimp.1 pile of home made pasta. This is thin spaghetti Sauté the pan ingredients till reduced about half and add the shrimp simmer covered till the shrimp are tenderServe with fresh shredded asiago or Parmesan and a side of iceberg lettuce with a lite vinaigrette. I like malt vinegar.I make pasta often using the Kitchenaid pasta rollers and cutters. Takes me about 45 minutes start to finish to produce fresh pasta that blows store bought away. Well worth the effort.Rg
