When I was a kid my mom would cut up hot dogs into our Spaghetti-O's.

I thought you were doing something like that.

 ;)

Do I really seem like the hot dog and Spaghetti O's type to you?

When I wa a king there wasn't much I liked better than Chef Boyardee Raviolis in a can. That was my favorite camping meal.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Kept it simple last night... had Coney’s on the Weber with some chopped onion and spicy mustard. Also threw a trout on with lemon and garlic. Was pretty tasty!

Last couple nights have been all about trying to use up the ham as well. Went to Wegmans for a couple sub rolls and made Cordon Bleu subs and scalloped taters. I could eat it again tonight but I'm in the mood for seafood.... So clams and scallops it will be. Or maybe a clam and scallop sauce over Cod.... Wish this weather would break I'd love some fresh fish and the only way to fish when it's snowing is in my Shanty IMO.

A king?

What country?

I made split pea also.
Donna couldn't find the traditional green peas at the market.
But they had yellow split peas.
Never used these so we tried them.
They were great.
More of a smoother somewhat buttery taste and texture.
Worked out well.
Gave Kelly and Chris a small container of it.  (Jeff hates split pea - more for the rest of us)
And I had enough for 2 meals and 2 containers for the freezer for future meals.

Good stuff.

Funny Mac, I had to go to 2 stores to find split peas Monday morning. There’s a grocery store I don’t prefer to go to 2 miles from home, but had to stop there for them when my go to Price Chopper was already out

I'm gonna bake some bullhead and my Bride is going to have left over ham and scalloped potato casserole.

And I'm reminded that I have pea soup in the freezer.

Funny...,wife took out a container of split pea she made a few weeks ago for us. She made it with smoked ham hocks and chopped up ham. Was delicious! With this snow it seems like a nice warm option!
