Trout Baked In Parchment Paper
« on: Apr 30, 2004, 06:25 AM »
Here's a delicious way to bake fish of all types.

Fish of choice ( scaled...skin on or off)
butter (real)
chopped:onions, celery, garlic ( and anything else you like)
marinated, roasted red peppers ( sliced fine)
sea salt
black pepper
lemon juice
Frank's Red Hot
Rosemary
Parsely
Luzzianne Cajun Seasoning

Scrape the scales from the skin, or fillet.

lay a large sheet of baking parchment paper on a sheet pan

brush the paper (just where the fish will lay) with soft butter

place the fish on the paper...be sure to leave enough paper to fold up the ends and sides

season fish and top with veggies, peppers lemon juice and hot sauce ( not a lot)

seal the ends and sides of the parchment and bake at 350-375 til tender.

You can also add a few thin lemon and onion slices in the fish cavity for flavor.
Delish ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
