;D Yup, lot's of guys fishing all this month. The catching has been a little thin, though. A bit better the last 3 days. Really tough for these fish to migrate in this low water. -Paul

Alright now I'm getting excited. Still saying over an inch of rain. That should really get a big push of fish in the rivers

LOL! Have you seen the upper reservoir? It's down 14 FEET! Trout and Orwell are almost dry.

Anything less than 5" of rain won't make much difference. An inch of rain MIGHT raise the gauge at Pineville to 275, for a day.

The fish are coming. They have been since the middle of last week. They don't have a choice. Just not many of them are going to get to the Hatchery. Hopefully, enough do. We had a low water year like this, I believe in 2012. I watched them spawning in the flats below the Staircase in October. - Paul

Things sure are dry and the river is lined with fisherman , oswego is another spot that some are being hooked ,, if all the fisherman would step back to shore the water would drop another 3” 😉

Just checked the Wx forecast and no real rain to be seen in the next 10 days. Just 20-50% chance of showers here and there.
Bad timing for a drought...  :'(

Was up Saturday mid river. A few pods of fish came though, some action. Water lower than I have ever seen. Plenty of people and with the low water, standing in the middle of runs.

What will 10' waves pounding the east shore do for the run? Bet you'll be able to pick salmon up off the beach later today and tomorrow if the gale force winds predicted actually hit.

Caught my personal best Brown on 9/30! Released to pass on his genes to the next generation. 20" From the butt to the top of the fore grip, so just shy of 30".  :D
Fished the month of September. This King was my best of the trip.

Anyone been hitting the river?  I'm heading up Friday night for a long weekend.  Sad to see a fishing trip that had upwards of 12 guys going at one point down to 3.  Sadly not even covid related, just life getting in the way.
