Those are some great pics!!!!  I have never seen anything quite like that aside from the salmon run.  How far do they travel up that stream?
May your doorknobs smell of fish!!

they run up the inlet about a mile or so (not sure) then they leap over the spill way into a large swamp area to spawn

in 2 weeks or so the walleye spawning run will follow with thousands of walleye crowding the stream-some of the fish are over 10 pounds

I had yet to see any pictures of that sort. Those are some great shots you got yourself there. It must have been cool to be able to watch all those Pike go up the stream like that to spawn.

Excellent pictures you have put together for all of us to see and lust over. Hey>>> Where WERE THEY DURING OUR CONESUS DERBY THIS WINTER?????. Hope the photos encourage even more ice fishermen to join in on the Ice Shanty Winter Tourney at Conesus Lake in New York ???
