Awesome fish for the little guy! St Croix/Shimano combo at 6yrs old??? I think I was still on a Zebco at that age.

LOL…thanks Jon. I did not even have a rod at his age! He got the rod from a buddy of mine and I paired it with a reel ….both Xmas presents. Its actually an ice fishing rod but is just the right length that on scale it is like a 6' rod for him.
