Lake Umbagog

Hey everyone. since lake umbagog is in maine and NH I will go ahead and post it in both.

I am heading to umbagog this weekend with my dad and girfriend to do some kayaking and fishing. I havnt fished this lake before and dont even know what swims in it, is it a big trout or bass or pike lake?

any info and tips on the lake would be greatly appreciated.

It's primarily a small mouth bass fishery,but they do put some rainbow and brook trout in there also..I have had some great luck on smallies with a 5 inch calin grub on a 1/4 ounce ball jig head in the colors of white, bluegill and pumpkin pepper colors...Good Luck....
