campgrounds open in s/w michigan...on lakes

i wanted to go to coldwater area lakes this last w/e and found that every campground was closed until may first....decided to scratch the trip...hard to believe not one was open....anybody have knowledge of campgrounds that are presently open?....if possible please leave web address or tele #....thanks steve heckler

Also, try to contact the chamber of commerce where you would like to travel.  They should have a full list of campgrounds and I'm sure that they would be more than helpfull.

thanks for the reply...i had already searched these sites and found only a few koa type campgrounds etc...nothing on a fishing lake that is open during early spring/winter etc.....i just can't believe there is not one campground open early for fishermen in s.w. mich...steve
