No crappie luck, but I've been fishing the Norwalk lake, and BOY am i catching catfish left and right! Using worm chunks on an egg sinker with a baitcast reel with 12 lb test and a medium action pole just fishing by the shore at dusk. Caught about 10 so far this week!!!!!! All of which weren't big, but big enough to eat!!! About 12-15 inches each. Lake Colchester is a private lake in norwalk. Pay $380 dollars for a full membership for EVERYTHING THERE!! It is for only one whole year though. Pricey, but you are able to participate in the local tournaments that are held! They are FUN! I've won almost every tournament. NO LIE.  ;D The fish in the lake are: Bluegill, Crappie, LM Bass, Walleye, Striped bass <-- (trying to get rid of), carp<-- (trying to get rid of) and Northern Pike. Great lake, but pay 380 for fun!

Anyway, no crappie, but when they do bite, you will catch them by the hundreds!!!!! See ya!

P.s. No mushrooms yet....

i think its funny that someone would spend that much to fish when you can find a boat for that much and go anywhere on the rivers lol

Exactly. So don't talk like you spent the $, you don't even know what $ is yet. $380 is what I pay for my share of the rent every month!
Jeez! Relax.  :P

  • A day of bad fishing is still a good day.

Last Weekend:

By the way, $380 is a little steep, little over a dollar a day but still, rather make my car payment....

You should stop randomly starting topics to get your post # up. If the post has relevance to something you've posted earlier, post it there. Stop wasting our time please... I know you're young but seriously. Ease up. You're looking desperate.

Shut up man, every one of your posts I've read have shown you to be a complete ass. If your just here to get on peoples backs, there's always people over on iceshanty to talk to.
