Sounds to me like "Squirrel" is a fitting name. The kid has a right to post here without needing to worry about someone trashing him. Set an example, not make a bad one pal. ???

I havent fished Cholchester for a couple of years but there are some very nice fish in the lake.  Sounds like they are actively trying to lower the catfish population in the lake as well as the carp population and are having marginal success doing so.  In any case, thanks for the report.

I just got back from jackson county, done there. The ones I found were dried up and no fresh ones to be found.

I'm not a morel hunter much, but my mom goes out.  She doesn't have as much luck....

Yeah the catfish and carp are overpopulated. mostly catfish though. There are some HUGE ones though. A report was made for an estimated 29" 10lb flathead swimming through the marina.
