i forgot to mention this in my post for south thomas and sandy lake fishing report....the northerns we caught in south thomas were a little battered up from the spawn....not too bad....the largest was feeding on salamanders..(2) recent and starting to pig out....the other was heavily feeding on shrimp and small minnows....the northerns caught on sandy lake appeared to be in much better shape and likely spawned slightly earlier...pretty markings as well.....grump
