Big show this weekend at club Fusion in North Syracuse it's a DIO tribute. Doors Open at 8pm bands all night. Hope to C-ya there.

P.s. I'll be playing for Titanium Black.
My buddy Ritchie owns the Fusion Room.   I'll be there sometime Saturday evening

PS: Titanium Black is the ONLY metal band in CNY that's worth going to see these days !!

Personally my opinion on that is......when they were young kids and first starting, they had the local scene by the short hairs and filled every place they played !     These days, the novelty of being young talented musicians has worn off and they've fallen into a rut that many local bands seem to fall into.     Seems they never took that next step to move on and are content with playing to a club full of drunken schlubs these days.    It's too bad.  There was some potential there from the start. :-\

Have you guys in CNY heard "Stone Soul Foundation" out of Auburn yet?

They've been around quite a few years now, and they throw down hard!!!

Sean Muldoon and Jeff Wiggens from SSF are good friends of mine and you are correct !  Not only do they throw it down hard, they're the absolute BEST band to come out of the CNY area in many many years !
Their second CD "Into the Flames" is so far beyond wheat anyone else has put out in recent years !   Every aspect of what they do is great !  Highly polished and as tight as can be EVERY SHOW !
Sean (the singer) is as powerful behind the mic as I've ever seen around these parts and way beyond !
They deserve to be heard by the world audience.  They're that good !

SSF is the one band in CNY that is worthy of any cover charge  !

Thats sweet, Gamma...  Those guys are all my buddies as well...

I went  to college with Dirty Dan at Cortland State and hang out with that crew whenever I can.  Sean and Jeff's side project is pretty awesome too, and Danny's side gig (The DTs and Brown Baggers) sure know how to have a good time if you like Roots country and drinkin' tunes...

Catch a Stone Soul show at Suzy's in Auburn (or better yet, Tommy's in Newark) and you're in for a fun night!

Never heard him called "Dirty Dan" before but I'm sure he can fill those shoes if neccessary !  Rock solid guitarist for sure !
I've been to Suzy's many times for their shows but not at Tommy's yet.   I will get there one of these days though.
SSF draws a great crowd wherever they play but the hometown of Auburn always turns into a huge party !
They're playing an outdoor show at Peppermill Island in Baldwinsville and coming up soon.
Personally, I like when they play the bill by themselves.  More bang for your buck and no schlub band as an opening act !  :^)

SSF opened for LA Gunns last summer at the Inner Harbor show and blew those chumps off the stage !

I'll try to post some links to their music.
