Anyone heading to Valdez soon?  I will be there for the 2nd week in August, just wondering if any of you may be there anytime soon?  Fishing for silvers, halibut, and my favorite, seabass!  Can't wait! 8)

Not going to make Valdez this year, headed to Phoenix in November for NASCAR. Need to save my time off and pennies for the trip. I'm with you, nothing like blackened sea bass and they're a blast to catch too. Good luck, taking your boat down?

Kevin,  You have a good time in the warmth!  I am going down with the boat.  Does well if the afternoon winds don't foul up the day.  Had a great trip last year, but the year before was like a monsoon.  Rained for 5 days and hard! ::)

JD,
I think I was there the same 5 days two years ago! Couple of years before that we sat for four days in rain and fog so thick we couldn't launch the boats. The day we left my friend stayed and said it cleared off before we crossed Thompson Pass. He even brought back pictures to prove it. Have fun and stay dry.
