got out today. ended up with a limit of crappies !!! ;D ;D ;D. they averaged 12", and over !! this biggest was 15 7/8" :o. not to bad out. the wind was chilly.   Sully...

I personally took a ride to the hatchery today. 6 full tanks of walleye and it appears that about 3/4 of the egg containers are full. That was better than what I heard yesterday. I got to see 3 nice walleye get tags inserted while I was there and they got a boat ride out to the center of the lake to be released. Not many fish in the creek where I looked.

They ended up getting all of the eggs that the state required. They got 284.4 Million and I think Bill said the target is 277 Million.

I have to buy a new depthfinder and I was thinking of buying a hummingbird 999ci hd si combo with as rci remote cabelas has them on sale to the 24th for 900.00 does anyone have any opions on this depthfinder? Don't want to spend all that money and buy the wrong one.
